Let’s see them aliens!

The internet is a strange and magical place, so no one was particularly surprised when a Facebook event to “Storm Area 51” to see what the US Government was hiding went viral, and millions of users RSVP’d to attend.

The planned event took on a life of it’s own, with people suggesting that if people “Naruto Ran” they couldn’t stop everyone from getting in. While everyone agreed this event was hilarious, no one really thought there would be a meaningful attempt to break into a Government Base, so we saw it as an opportunity to have some fun.

We had Bud Light put out an offer for “free beer to any aliens that escape from area 51”, knowing full well it was a bet we’d never have to pay off. But that wasn’t enough for us!

We wanted to make sure the humans got some beer too, so we put out a custom Bud Light Aliens pack, incorporating all new colors and images to get in on the alien action.

When thousands of people did actually show up to Nevada the day of the event, alien lovers had access to Bud Light fridges stocked with alien beers. And while no one got shot by the government and aliens were revealed, one person did in fact Naruto Run on live television.
